This looks like something fun to check out this weekend.  The 2010 Art Star Craft Bazaar is going on Saturday and Sunday May 15th & 16th.  It is held along the waterfront at Penn’s Landing in Philadelphia and will be open both days from 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.  The Art Star Craft Bazaar is an outdoor art/craft show featuring over 100 local and national artists.  It is juried by Philadelphia’s Art Star Gallery & Boutique.

Art Star is a gallery and boutique in Philadelphia.  They exhibit and sell handmade art created by emerging artists from all over.  Art Star’s exhibits rotate every 6 weeks and continually offer new items from clothing & accessories to prints & household decor.     

Have you been watching 9 By Design?  It is Bravo’s new docu-series featuring husband and wife design team Bob and Cortney Novogratz.  They are the owners of NYC based design firm Sixx Design.  The two have been buying, renovating, and selling properties in Manhattan and elsewhere for over a decade.  The show highlights the challenges of running a growing business while raising a growing family.  

9 By Design airs on Bravo on Tuesdays at 10 p.m. ET.  Tonight’s episode features a special fundraising event for family friend Jasmina Anema.  Jasmina (who passed away in January) was a 6 year old girl whose battle with Leukemia was followed closely, around the country.  The Novogratz’ are trying to get people to tune in to tonight’s episode to help raise Leukemia awareness and to make people more aware of the need for bone marrow donors.   

Essie nailpolish has introduced a new collection of nail colors for summer.  It is called The Resort Collection.  There are definitely some different colors here.  I don’t know if I could wear blue nailpolish - feels a bit young to me.  I do like the Turquoise & Caicos color and think it could look great with a tan. 

I have been loving the fabulous straw fedoras that retail stores have out for girls this spring. There are so many fashionable styles available. My daughter, Miss J. is an accessories girl (gets it from me) and looks great in hats. One of these has already found its way into her spring/summer wardrobe this year. So what do you think... would your daughter wear one of these?

How pretty are these colors?  Just in time for wedding season, Essie has released their 2010 Wedding Collection.  It is a lovely selection of pastel colors any of which would look great alone or paired with another color for a french manicure.

I love that they are offering these in a mini collection.  The mini collection includes four of the colors from the Wedding Collection and is a great way to sample them.  These pastels are of course beautiful for a bride but I think that they would be pretty for anyone.  My daughter likes these kind of pastel colors on her nails.  So pretty.

Spring has sprung and summer is just around the corner.  I have been dreaming about the beach all week.  It is summer vacation planning time!  I wanted to share a few neat family travel websites with you.  They might be helpful in planning a family vacation or a long weekend out of town.
